The Social Media Coordinator position is a part-time, paid internship for credit. This position requires a strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, specifically social media platforms. The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for assisting with content development, social media monitoring, and reporting and optimization of social media marketing campaigns.

  • Assist with development of social media content calendars
  • Create social media messages, including capturing images and video and writing copy with a focus on achieving client goals
  • Monitor and engage with client audiences on social networks
  • Online outreach and promotion using Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more
  • Assist in social media reporting and optimization
  • Contribute to Agency's digital knowledge-base and thought leadership
  • Participate in client discovery and brainstorming sessions


  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Familiarity with Sprout Social or similar social media content management platforms

  • Knowledge of MS Office

Education Requirements

Currently working toward a bachelor degree or higher in Advertising/Public Relations/Marketing or related major with ability to demonstrate past experience and/or coursework in social media communication, engagement and/or content creation.
