Tallahassee, Fla. – December 17, 2019 – The Mitchells Agency, a full-service advertising agency in Tallahassee, continues to inspire consumers and industry professionals alike with their most recent win of an Emmy at the 2019 Suncoast Regional EMMY® Awards.
The Suncoast Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is a professional service organization dedicated to the advancement of the arts and sciences of television and related media and to the promotion of creative leadership for artistic, educational and technical achievements within the television industry. The 43rd annual event, taking place this past weekend in Orlando, Fla., is one of the television industry’s most esteemed events of the year.
The Mitchells were honored with an Emmy Award in the category of “Commercial” for their work for Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare’s (TMH) “Kids Will Be Kids – Slip ‘N Slide” campaign. This notable campaign has already received numerous acclaims and recognition, including “Best of Show” from the 36th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards and several Gold ADDY Awards at the local, regional and national level.
“Once again, we are proud of and humbled by our peer recognition, this time by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences,” said Robin Stefanovich, President and CEO of The Mitchells. “This year’s events have shed light on our philosophy that you can inspire great work across any business as long as you connect with their audience. Our award-winning work spans across a vast platform – highlighting both a range of industries, from healthcare to QSR, and a range of our core capabilities, from creative and design to digital and social media.”
The nationally-acclaimed “Kids Will be Kids” campaign was created to support the launch of TMH’s new children’s emergency center affiliated with Wolfson Children’s Hospital. Launched in the summer of 2018 surrounding the facility’s opening, this campaign was executed through television, print, outdoor and digital advertising, and even ran again this year.
“Being the agency of record for TMH for nearly 50 years, we’ve always been incredibly passionate about the work we do for them,” said Erich Stefanovich, Chief Creative Officer. “Inspiring brands and the lives of the people in which they serve is something we don’t take lightly – and the recognition we’ve received for this campaign shows just that.”
