Junior Content Marketer Internship

The Junior Content Marketer requires a strong knowledge of the digital and social media landscape, across all platforms. He or she is responsible for both written and visual content development across a diverse portfolio of clients. The Junior Content Marketer will also monitor conversations on social media, identifying opportunities to participate and moderating as needed.

Responsibilities
- Support Digital Marketing Manager in development of monthly digital marketing content calendars and overall strategy with focus on achieving business goals and objectives
- Conceptualize, edit and execute content (photo, video, copy and graphics) for all social platforms
- Work closely with creative team to develop and create high-quality visual and written content
- Support scheduling and posting content on all platforms
- Understand tone and voice of various clients and write social media copy that builds engagement and community
- Monitor and curate UGC to be featured across all platforms
- Support implementation, monitoring and optimization of paid social campaigns
- Participate in client discovery and brainstorming sessions
- Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices
Qualifications
- Familiarity with all social media platforms and best practices, including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn about email platforms (e.g. Mailchimp)
- Highly organized and deadline oriented, with good time-management skills
- Digital native, with internet savvy and strong understanding of digital spaces
- Natural curiosity and willingness to learn
- Passion for learning about new industries
- Great communication skills and ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of MS Office and Google Workspace
- Familiarity and proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere Pro
- Excellent photo and video skills
- Strong written and verbal skills
Education Requirements
Pursuing a Bachelor degree or higher in Advertising/Public Relations/Marketing or related major with ability to demonstrate past success in social media communication, engagement, and/or sales.
